Strokovnjaki ECDR so se pri številnih mednarodnih projektih v preteklih letih ukvarjali s primerjalnimi raziskavami, oblikovanjem zakonodajnih in samoregulativnih okvirjev, krepili so institucionalne zmogljivosti, usposabljali ključne deležnike, oblikovali upravno strukturo in priporočila za oblikovanje ustreznega sistema.

Albanija, Bahrajn, Bosna in Hercegovina, Hrvaška, Grčija, Italija, Nekdanja jugoslovanska republika Makedonija, Kosovo, Malta, Črna gora, Maroko, Romunija, Rusija, Srbija, Švica, Turčija, Ukrajina.
Dejavnosti ECDR
Evropski pravni inštitut
Evropski pravni inštitut (European Law Institute - ELI) je bil ustanovljen v Parizu leta 2011. Gre za mednarodno neprofitno organizacijo, ustanovljeno na podlagi belgijskega prava, pisarna sekretariata ELI pa ima sedež na Dunaju, kjer potekajo tudi sestanki raznih odborov ELI, vključno z izvršnim odborom.
V letu 2014 je tudi Ljubljana postala center aktivnosti ELI-ja, in sicer so jo izbrali za predstavništvo Jugovzhodne Evrope, Slovenija pa je s tem dobila večji vpliv na zakonodajno urejanje v EU. Sedež ELI-ja v Ljubljani je tako na Evropskem centru za reševanje sporov.
Temeljni cilji ELI-ja so proučevanje in spodbujanje evropskega pravnega razvoja. Je posvetovalno telo Evropske komisije, saj slednja znotraj njega testira pomembna pravna vprašanja ter pripravlja osnutke za reforme in zakone. ELI deluje preko različnih strokovnih organizacij, med njimi je torej tudi Evropski center za reševanje sporov.

Center za reševanje potrošniških sporov
Evropski center za reševanje sporov je izvajalec izvensodnega reševanja potrošniških sporov v Sloveniji, ki je registriran pri MGRT, v skladu Zakonom o izvensodnem reševanju potrošniških sporov. Na tem področju imamo kot edini institucionalni ponudnik tovrstnega reševanja sporov bogate izkušnje. Kot registriran izvajalec storitev IRPS, ECDR sodeluje v evropski platformi za spletno reševanje potrošniških čezmejnih sporov, ki izvirajo iz spletne prodaje ali spletnih storitev.

NEO je simulacija sojenja, ki stranki razkrije, kakšen rezultat lahko pričakuje, če bo spor prišel na sodišče. Izvajajo jo nekdanji ustavni, vrhovni in drugi sodniki višjih stopenj, ki tako stranki omogočijo pogled na spor skozi sodniške oči.
Pravila postopka reševanja potrošniških sporov se uporabljajo za reševanje pogodbenih sporov med ponudniki in potrošniki, ki so v zvezi s prodajo blaga ali opravljanjem storitev in niso bili rešeni s pogajanji med strankami na podlagi pravočasnega in pravilnega zahtevka potrošnika za odpravo napake, povračilo škode ali izvedbo plačila.
